According to Dun & Bradstreet website, Dun & Bradstreet was founded in 1841 to assist customers to obtain information about a business. According to federal policy, a business concern needs to have a Dun & Bradstreet unique identifier or Duns number (DUNS#). There is a link on Sams.gov to obtain a free DUNS#. Click the link on Sams.gov, which will take you to the above site. Click the above circled link and answer the questions and you then be assigned a DUNS# with a few days. Once you have a DUNS#, you can complete your Sams registration. “Passing on a little knowledge each day provides us purpose,” Dr Claude.
